Winter Challenge Print E-mail

In 2009 the Winter Challenge will not be held as a community event.  This program will still be offered to interested companies in the future.  Please call 260-969-6383 for more information.
 

Do you want to keep your weight gain to a minimum during the holiday season and inclement weather months?


THE GOAL(S)
Individuals 
1.  Don’t gain more than 5lbs throughout the winter season (18+)
2.  Be active at least 90-180 minutes per week.

Groups/Teams
1.  Don’t gain more than 5lbs times the number of people in the group (i.e. 50 people x 5 =250 lbs).
2.  Each person needs to be active at least 90-180 minutes per week. Complete log and give to site coordinator at the end of the challenge.

•IN MOTION Wellness Newsletters (printable)
•Activity log
•Free Walking Pass to Spiece Fitness
•Opportunity for Grand Prize Incentive

All who meet their goal will have a chance to win a grand prize.


WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? 
Businesses, community residents, school students pre-K through grade 12, college students, those whom are physically challenged, seniors -- literally everyone!


PROGRAM DATES 
Program runs 6 to 10 weeks based on the interest of the organization.  All interested schools and businesses can call 260-969-6383 to request more information.


PROGRAM COST/HOW TO REGISTER
$5.00 per participant and free for any student pre-K through 12. 
Costs are used to cover printing, postage, and grand prizes.
